Since 2008, Sydney Clinical & Forensic Psychology Pty Ltd has provided specialist psychological assessment, treatment, and forensic mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, families, legal professionals, government agencies, and organisations throughout Australia and internationally.


Our experienced Clinical and Forensic Psychologists provide evidence-based assessment, treatment, and expert witness services for mental health conditions, trauma, PTSD, personality disorders, offending behaviour, and other complex psychological presentations.


Our expertise includes Family Law Single Expert Reports, Child Impact Reports, parenting capacity assessments, medico-legal reports, criminal sentencing assessments, Section 14 applications, violence and sexual offending risk assessments, immigration assessments, child protection matters, psychological injury evaluations, fitness for duty assessments, and expert witness services.

Dr Dilati is the founder and Director of Sydney Clinical & Forensic Psychology. As a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in psychological assessment, forensic evaluation, expert witness services, forensic risk assessment, Family Law matters, and complex mental health presentations.

Dr Dilati is the founder and Director of Sydney Clinical & Forensic Psychology. As a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, she specializes in psychological assessment, forensic evaluation, expert witness services, forensic risk assessment, Family Law matters, and complex mental health presentations. 


Dr Dilati holds several professional memberships and qualifications, including: 


  • Bachelor of Psychology, Masters of Psychology (Forensic), Graduate Diploma Law (Human Rights), and a PhD in offender rehabilitation 
  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS)
  • Fellow of the APS College of Forensic Psychologists and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists

Alex is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who specializes in providing clinical assessment and psychological treatment for adults involved in the criminal justice system. He focuses on individuals presenting with a broad range of mental health, behavioural, and offending-related concerns, utilizing forensic evaluation methods to inform his practice. 


With particular expertise in the assessment and management of violence and sexual offending risk, Alex has worked with diverse client populations across custodial and community settings. He is skilled in delivering evidence-based interventions that support behavioural change, rehabilitation, and psychological wellbeing.


His therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to the individual needs and circumstances of each client. Alex holds the following professional memberships and qualifications:


  • Masters of Science (Forensic Psychology) with First Class Honours from Victoria University of Wellington, NZ
